How do I get started?
It’s easy—schedule your first visit! During this initial consultation, Dr. Noor will get to know you and advise you on your options and next steps with us based on your current health and experience.
-
Do you take insurance?
Lifestyles By Noor is committed to providing top-notch care without the hassles of insurance. We operate on a cash basis, allowing us to focus on you and your health without the paperwork or delays. -
What do you not offer?
We do not provide primary care (annual physicals, vaccines, acute sick visits), after-hours appointments, or urgent/emergency care. Additionally, we do not offer medical aesthetics (e.g., injectables, microneedling, and laser) but will be happy to refer you to one of our trusted colleagues.

Why the emphasis on bone density?
Did you know women start seeing bone loss in their 30s and 40s—and for some, earlier?!
Unfortunately, osteoporosis in women is at epidemic proportions. Fifty percent of women—that’s 1 in 2! —will have an osteoporotic fracture in their lifetime. Almost 1 in 5 women will have an osteoporotic hip fracture in their lifetime. Of those, as many as 30-50% will die within two years. The numbers are staggering, yet insurance doesn’t cover bone density scans until you’re over age 60.
Dr. Noor’s goal is to arm everyone with knowledge about their bone density so we can catch bone loss early and prevent these terrible outcomes. That’s why we go above and beyond what most other practices scan, typically the lumbar spine and one hip. Using our in-house DEXA scanner, we take images of your lumbar spine, both hips, and one forearm. In addition to your bone density score, we take your tubercular bone score (TBS) for a full picture of your bone health.
-
What is a body composition analysis, and why is it important?
The number on the scale is a very poor predictor of your health. A body composition analysis measures fat content, muscle mass, and visceral fat. These numbers help us determine your risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, fall risk, and much more. It’s the best way to track changes in your body over time, whether you are on a weight loss journey or working to improve your overall health.
-
Do you offer hormone balancing or hormone supplements?
No, and we do not recommend either of these. Hormone balancing is not a medical term. The same goes for hormone supplements, which are herbal supplements touted for their ability to relieve and manage menopausal and perimenopausal symptoms but have not been scientifically proven.
-
How long do you recommend for care and membership plans?
Our membership programs require a minimum commitment of six months, with no maximum. That means you can remain a member and partner with us indefinitely!
The length and frequency of care for our signature packages and a la carte services vary by treatment and patient. We will make nuanced adjustments, monitor your progress, and then determine a schedule.
